Seconds counter 1 second off

The watch is fantastic looks wise and I'm very happy with the aesthetics. But my one complaint is the top seconds counter sits at 1 second when reset and will not stay at 0 no matter what I do. I'd like some recommendations on how to correct that if possible please. Thank you!
