To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Daily Mail Transatlantic Air Race in 1969 won by Tom Lecky-Thompson in Harrier XV741, AVI-8 worked closely with renowned aviation restoration company Jet Art Aviation to produce a series of limited edition timepieces.

Funds raised were used to provide lifetime support to those wounded in the service of their country. 10% of the net sales of each timepiece sold goes towards the important work of the Tuskegee Airmen Inc. supporting youth programs and providing educational assistance to those pursuing flight training and other higher education pursuits.
